Joe Allegro has worked in this industry for a number of years. He began his career in Lighting Design/Technical Direction in the California Institute of Arts (Valencia, CA) and then jumped into the Los Angeles theater and events market as a designer and programmer.
In 1998, to complement his artistic career, he began working in the software technical support and consultation area for the lighting industry’s leading control system and visualization package: the now well known Wholehog II and WYSYWIG software.
Since then, Joe Allegro has worked as a freelance lighting designer and/or programmer with numerous lighting vendors and other professional designers, expanding both the creative and technical aspects of his career and developing great relationships with various people in the entertainment industry.
Today, he is an up-to-date designer who continuos to develop his talents and skills to the maximum, always embracing the actual and up-coming technologies that the lighting world offers and demands.
